Pumpkin Purée all day

It’s October!🍂 How did that even happen?? I’m not a fan of being cold but I am a fan of pumpkin spice so I guess it’s a trade off. But since everything with pumpkin in it is usually sweet I wanted to make something savory! So this dairy free “cheese” sauce was born!! Good for putting on top of zoodles, spaghetti squash and quinoa noodles (found them at Costco and there the BEST gluten free noodle on the market)👏🏼

Pumpkin “Cheese” Sauce🎃

3/4 cup pumpkin purée 

1 cup cashews 

1/2 cup nutritional yeast 

1/2 tsp turmeric 

1/2 tsp salt 

1/4 tsp. Pepper

Enough water for you’re preferred consistency! And you can always add more when ready to eat

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender 
  2. Blend until smooth. Makes about 1 cup when thick and more with thinned out
