Green Beans! Another garden favorite!! It’s pretty easy to grow and there’s always more to pick everyday so you will pretty much never run out😉
1. GUT HEALTH – greens beans are great for gut health because they contain a fermentable fiber that helps feed the good bacteria in your gut!
2. CONTROL DIABETES – green beans have been shown to help protect beta cells which are the cells that control insulin production. Usually diabetes patients have damaged beta cells but beans can help protect them (1)
3. SATISFACTION- Green beans (or any vegetable) can help bulk up your meal and actually make you feel more satisfied than after having a meal with no vegetable
