I really like having something to eat before bed and chocolate is usually what I grab. I’ve really been liking Bark Thins lately!! So I decided to recreate them AND can I just say that they turned out perfect!!
Bark Thins Copycat
Ingredients:
½ cup cacao butter
¼ cup cacao powder
2 tbsp. pumpkin/sunflower seeds
1-4 tbsp. maple syrup
Directions:
- Melt the cacao butter in double boiler (or a DIY version)
- Place the sunflower seeds on a pan to toast unless you bought toasted seeds
- Once the cacao butter is completely melted, whisk in the cacao powder until there are no chunks
- Slowly add the maple syrup in while whisking
- Add the toasted sunflower seeds and mix well
- Pour into a parchment lined 8×8 dish so they don’t get too thin when refrigerating
- Place in fridge for an hour then break into pieces
