Here’s a recipe to help get aloe in your diet!👍🏼 Aloe drinks are sold in store but they usually have like 10-20 grams of sugar😢 so I don’t buy them but I do like to make my own aloe drinks!! This one includes turmeric for extra anti-inflammatory properties and sparkling water to make it fancy👌🏼 But you can totally do it with just water
Anti-Inflammatory Drink
Ingredients:
1 bag turmeric tea
½ cup hot water
1 cup sparkling water
1 small aloe vera leaf
3 ice cubes
Directions:
- Warm the ½ cup of water and place the tea bag in it and let brew for at least 10 minutes
- Cut the aloe down the sides, carefully slice the top off then slide the white gel out. (I looked up a video on how to do this ha). Then you want to cut the slices of aloe vera gel into small pieces
- Place these small pieces in a strainer and rinse well. The sticky liquid called latex can act as a laxative so you want to get as much of that off
- Once the tea is done, add ice cubes, sparkling water and aloe slices and enjoy
