Aloe Drink

Here’s a recipe to help get aloe in your diet!👍🏼 Aloe drinks are sold in store but they usually have like 10-20 grams of sugar😢 so I don’t buy them but I do like to make my own aloe drinks!! This one includes turmeric for extra anti-inflammatory properties and sparkling water to make it fancy👌🏼 But you can totally do it with just water

Anti-Inflammatory Drink

Ingredients:

1 bag turmeric tea

½ cup hot water

1 cup sparkling water

1 small aloe vera leaf

3 ice cubes

Directions:

  1. Warm the ½ cup of water and place the tea bag in it and let brew for at least 10 minutes
  2. Cut the aloe down the sides, carefully slice the top off then slide the white gel out. (I looked up a video on how to do this ha). Then you want to cut the slices of aloe vera gel into small pieces
  3. Place these small pieces in a strainer and rinse well. The sticky liquid called latex can act as a laxative so you want to get as much of that off
  4. Once the tea is done, add ice cubes, sparkling water and aloe slices and enjoy
