Spring Break

ON THE ROAD EDITION: Spring break is here!!🙌🏼 And it couldn’t have came at a better time because this week was pretty crazy! Going to Kansas City to eat a lot of good food and hopefully getting more sun than Michigan🤞🏼Here’s what I brought for breakfast on the way! And it’s filled with a good amount of plant protein!! Pretty much overnight oats but with buckwheat because I personally don’t do good with oats. And buckwheat is naturally gluten free and it has a little more texture which I love! If you’ve never had it give this a try
Overnight Buckwheat
Ingredients:
1/4 cup buckwheat
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp hemp seeds
1/2 cup milk of choice
1/4 cup water

Directions:
1. Fill a mason jar with the buckwheat, chia seeds and hemp seed and stir to combine
2. Add the milk and water, put on the cap and shake. Then place in fridge overnight
3. Get creative and add toppings in the morning. I mixed in half a mashed banana for sweetness, cacao powder and peanut butter☺️ then topped it with some strawberries! You can add any flavor you like!!
