Hide the greens

ITS FRIDAY🤗 And my birthdays tomorrow so I’m super happy it’s the weekend!! The recipe for today is a green hummus because a lot of people love hummus and some (hopefully most of you) love vegetables so why not put them together?!🤷🏻‍♀️ And if you’re worried about the kale taste you can barely taste it. We ate it with plantains chips, carrots, chicken, flax crackers, all the good stuff! And it was sooo good! Have a good weekend!!👍🏼

Green Hummus


1½ cup chickpeas, soaked overnight in four cups of water

¼ cup tahini

1 clove garlic

½ cup lemon juice

2 cups kale, packed

2 tbsp. olive oil

½ tsp. ground cumin

¼ cup water



  1. Sauté kale in a saucepan until wilted
  2. Add the chickpeas, tahini, garlic, and lemon juice to a blender or food processor. Pulse until crumbly
  3. Add kale, olive oil, cumin and water. Continue to blend until smooth, may have to stop and scrap down the sides. Also may have to add more water
