Scones!

So my friend asked me to make her food for Christmas haha! Which I actually really liked doing (if anyone else wants food for their presents hmu😬) So I made her some scones, fat bombs and homemade snickers!! For the scone I used oats and pumpkin to make it chewy and moist👌🏼 I usually don’t eat oats because I find they make me really bloated but if your good with them I would love if you gave these a try!! My mom said they were really good too!! And they aren’t that sweet so they are perfect for the people who don’t eat overly sweet desserts. You could eat these for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Happy Sunday!!

Pumpkin Scones

Ingredients:

2 cups oat flour (ground up almost 2 cups of oats)

1 tsp. cinnamon

¼ tsp. nutmeg

¼ tsp. cloves

½ cup pumpkin

¼ cup milk (might need an extra tablespoon)

2 tbsp. honey

¼ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Drizzle:

Melted coconut butter

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. In a medium sized bowl, mix together oat flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves and stir well
  3. Add pumpkin, milk and honey. Mix to combine, add a tablespoon of milk if the mixture is too dry. Add chocolate chips and stir just until combined
  4. Pour onto a parchment lined pan and smooth into a circle about an inch and a half thick. Before baking, cut the circle into 8 triangles to make it easier to cut them after they are baked
  5. Bake for 15 minutes or until slightly brown
  6. Cut on the lines and enjoy
