Scones!

So my friend asked me to make her food for Christmas haha! Which I actually really liked doing (if anyone else wants food for their presents hmu😬) So I made her some scones and homemade snickers!! For the scone I used oats and pumpkin to make it chewy and moist👌🏼 Happy Sunday!!

Pumpkin Scones

Ingredients:

2 cups oat flour (ground up almost 2 cups of oats)

1 tsp. cinnamon

¼ tsp. nutmeg

¼ tsp. cloves

½ cup pumpkin

¼ cup milk (might need an extra tablespoon)

2 tbsp. honey

¼ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Drizzle:

Melted coconut butter

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. In a medium sized bowl, mix together oat flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves and stir well
  3. Add pumpkin, milk and honey. Mix to combine, add a tablespoon of milk if the mixture is too dry. Add chocolate chips and stir just until combined
  4. Pour onto a parchment lined pan and smooth into a circle about an inch and a half thick. Before baking, cut the circle into 8 triangles to make it easier to cut them after they are baked
  5. Bake for 15 minutes or until slightly brown
  6. Cut on the lines and enjoy
