Cauliflower Dip

PARTY TIME! Going to a party? Whacha bringing? If you want to sneak in some veggies you can with this dip!! Using cauliflower as the base (weird I know haha) makes it a lighter dip that won’t fill you up too much! And this is completely dairy free!👍🏼 You can also add shredded chicken if you want this to be a buffalo chicken dip. The possibilities are endless! Have a very merry Christmas!!❤️❤️

Cauliflower Buffalo Dip

Ingredients:

1 cauliflower

¼ cup sweet potato

½ cup nutritional yeast

2 cups water or broth

¼ cup + 2 tbsp. hot sauce

½ tsp. garlic powder

¼ tsp. onion powder

½ tsp. salt

¼ tsp. pepper

1 tsp. chili flakes

 

Directions:

  1. Cut the cauliflower into florets and either roast for more texture or steam if you want the dip smooth, until tender. I roasted it for about 40 minutes
  2. Preheat oven to 350
  3. In a food processor or blender, add the cauliflower and broth and pulse until finely chopped. Add the sweet potato and nutritional yeast and blend
  4. Add the seasonings and either mix in or blend again to incorporate.
  5. Pour into a ceramic baking dish and place into oven for 15-20 minutes or until slightly brown on top.
  6. Serve with vegetables, plantain chips or anything you like
