We made it!! Friday! Butternut squash is one of the sweetest squashes and you can use it in so many different ways!! I added some chili lime sauce on top and it was SO GOOD!! It’s nice to have a little spice on something a little sweet you know😉 This is also something you could add more veggies too and take it to a holiday party!
Honey & Chili & Lime Butternut Squash
1 medium butternut squash
1 tbsp. honey
¼ cup lime juice
zest of one lime
¼ tsp. chili powder
¼ tsp. salt
salt and pepper to taste. Ghee for cooking
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Peel and cut the butternut squash into cubes. Add ghee, salt and pepper
- Add to a parchment lined pan and bake for 40ish minutes or until soft
- In a small bowl, add the lime juice, zest, chili powder, salt and honey. Mix well
- After the butternut is done, pour sauce over and serve!
