Butternut Squash

We made it!! Friday! Butternut squash is one of the sweetest squashes and you can use it in so many different ways!! I added some chili lime sauce on top and it was SO GOOD!! It’s nice to have a little spice on something a little sweet you know😉 This is also something you could add more veggies too and take it to a holiday party!

Honey & Chili & Lime Butternut Squash


1 medium butternut squash

1 tbsp. honey

¼ cup lime juice

zest of one lime

¼ tsp. chili powder

¼ tsp. salt

salt and pepper to taste. Ghee for cooking



  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Peel and cut the butternut squash into cubes. Add ghee, salt and pepper
  3. Add to a parchment lined pan and bake for 40ish minutes or until soft
  4. In a small bowl, add the lime juice, zest, chili powder, salt and honey. Mix well
  5. After the butternut is done, pour sauce over and serve!
