Jingle bells, jingle be….. Too early?? NAH!! Happy November 1st!!!! We can start eating holiday things now right? Cranberry is a flavor that is around during Christmas but I feel like a lot of people don’t like it because they only know it coming from a can… in a weird jelly substance😶 BUT fresh cranberries are sooo good and can be added to many, many foods!! Try this super easy cranberry jelly to get into the holiday spirit!!!!😬
Cranberry Jelly (print here)
Ingredients:
1 package cranberries, rinsed
1 cup applesauce
2 tbsp. orange juice or apple cider
½ tsp. cinnamon
Directions:
- In a medium saucepan, add cranberries and orange juice. Cook on medium while stirring until cranberries are tender
- Add cranberries to blender and blend until desired consistency
- Add applesauce and cinnamon and stir well. Add honey if you want it less tart
- Heat again until it becomes thicker. Store in a pint sixed mason jar in the fridge!
