The candy holiday is coming up fast and most of us might be feeling like they want something sweet! Here’s my take on this: eat what you want! If you want some candy I think it’s ok for you to have it. But I think you should still be getting all your nutrients and what your body wants FIRST! This recipe is perfect for that!! There are so many veggies packed in to this and it makes the perfect meal!! And afterward if you want a little chocolate I say go for it!! Food should not be scary but your body does know what it needs!! Just remember to be 100% present when eating a “treat” 👍🏼

Green Soup (print here)


2 cups kale

½ cup parsley

3 zucchinis

½ tbsp. curry powder

½ cup nutritional yeast

1 tsp. salt

¼ tsp. pepper

1 onion, diced

1 tbsp. ghee or coconut oil

2 cups kale, thinly sliced

¼ cup heavy cream or coconut cream

1 cup broth of choice

2 cups shredded chicken



  1. In a blender, add the three zucchini cut small. Blend until smooth. Add 2 cups kale, parsley, curry powder, salt and nutritional yeast, blend until combined
  2. In a medium saucepan, add ghee and onions. Cook until translucent then add soup mixture. Cook on medium
  3. Add broth and heavy cream and stir well. Add kale and shredded chicken. Serve when warm
