Happy Monday! I bought some dried lavender and I’ve been trying to think of how to use it… so I decided to infuse the flavor into some popsicles and they were pretty good!!! More lavender recipes to come maybe😉
Lavender Blackberry Chia Popsicles (print here)
Makes 8-10 popsicles
Ingredients:
1 6 oz container of blackberries
3 tbsp. chia seeds
1 tbsp. dried lavender
½ cup water or milk of choice, warm
2 bananas
1 tbsp. honey (optional)
Directions:
- Add the lavender buds to the water and let sit for about 30 minutes
- Strain the water into a blender and add 1 cup of the blackberries and blend until smooth
- In a small bowl, combine blackberry mixture and chia seeds and stir well, set aside for about 10 minutes
- Blend the bananas with just enough water for them to become smooth. Add the honey here if using
- Once the chia mixture is set, alternate the blackberry mixture and the banana mixture until all your popsicle molds are filled. I also added 1-2 whole blackberries to mine at this time
- Place in freezer until set
