Macaroni and Cheese?


I fooled ya didn’t I?! Haha someone at work made macaroni and cheese for our party this week and that was totally a favorite of mine when I was little. So right when I came home I wiped this up and it totally came through for me! Probably because I also LOVE nutritional yeast!!! I have no idea how they make it taste like it does (should probs look that up) but it is definitely something I always add on top of my dishes

Cauliflower & “Cheese” (print here)

Serves about 2


½ cup water*

¼ cup almond milk

2 cups cauliflower, riced

¼ tsp. turmeric

¼ tsp. curry powder

¼ tsp. paprika

½ cup nutritional yeast

dash of salt

½ cup shredded chicken (optional)


  1. In a medium sized saucepan, add water, almond milk and cauliflower. Simmer for 5-10 minutes or until cauliflower is tender and some water has evaporated
  2. Add in nutritional yeast and all spices and stir to combine. Add in shredded chicken if using to make this more of a meal or omit for a side dish
  3. Let cool slightly and enjoy!

*If you want yours thicker add less water
