Sometimes you just need pizza you know😬 For this pizza crust we used the leftover almond pulp form our homemade almond milk! We will do a recipe for that too😉 This recipe was adapted from TwistOfLemons.Com! She stole a “pizza” our heart with her super funny puns and all the great information she shares for free! Seriously guys! She is probably my favorite person to follow on Instagram and her blog. So this was inspired by her almond crackers and almond pizza crust if you want to check them out. AND the best thing about pizza is all the different TOPPINGS!! On this one we added pesto, kale and beets and it totally hit the pizza craving 🙂

Personal Almond Pulp Pizza (print here)

makes 1 small crust

½ cup almond pulp (could maybe use almond flour with water added*)

1 ½ tbsp. ghee, melted

¼ tsp. garam masala

¼ tsp. thyme

¼ tsp. parsley

½ tsp. Italian seasoning

¼ tsp. garlic powder

Dash of salt

¼ tsp. pepper

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. In a small bowl, combine pulp and all spices
  3. Add in ghee and mix (dough should be able formable)
  4. On parchment lined baking sheet, press dough into a small circle
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until crisp
  6. Add any topping you like

Tip- The dough will be crisp but falls apart easily so just be aware of that. Also I don’t know how a tomato sauce would do on this, it might make it soggy. But if you eat it right away I think it would be fine

*You want to flour to be slightly moist like the pulp. I did not try this recipe using regular almond flour.
